Permaculture Pinup met Angie Rainbow G at Building Man, an event co-produced by Permaculture Pinup co-founder, KaytiBunny Roberts. Angie Rainbow G attended one of my yoga classes. She exuburently introduced herself explaining how the 'pleasure and play' I introduced within the class reminded her of the Earth-GAIASMIC teaching within her offerings. She would stay within our community for many weeks taking part of events and adding her magick in so many ways. Although I would come to know the amazing works Angie was up to, the story of her personal transformation and journey has made for such an inspiring interview.

Wow, can you summarize this 13 year journey for us Angie?
I am currently a Nomad. Since 2018, I have been traveling the East Coast and West Coast of the U.S.A on what I call the Rainbow Earth Journey. I have met amazing beings in the woodlands of New England and on the Mountain Tops of Shata with whom I now work with in collaboration to co-create an Ascended culture, that will blend together seamlessly ancient wisdom, nature, luxury, ecology, modern science, and technology synergistically uniting at the intersection of wellness, impact, media & technology, shaping a brighter future for all. You can learn more at ascended.life. At Ascended, we create & nurture human experiences, for true lasting transformation.
How has your upbringing of place and culture impactd the direction of your current life?
I was born in Mexico City I have memories of growing up in a very flavorful environment filled with chilies and limes. I always loved the tastes, sights and fun cultural traditions of my country. I was always especially amazed during the day of the dead how much color and fun it was to honor and remember the dead. I always loved the fact that death was not something to fear rather something to be celebrated. My favorite activity when I was young was to go to Coyoacán with my mom and dad to taste all the handmade goodies such as freshly made cornmeal cookies that were cooked in the comal. My favorite candies were artisanal hand made fruit-shaped cajeta, dulce de leche, caramel-like confection candies that were made from fresh goat milk, dried fruit and walnuts. Though I don't really do dairy in my adult life, I do have fond feelings about those early memories especially the beauty and the artistry that I always admired as I would gaze into the edible art pieces of the colorful sweet treats that mimicked the exact shape of many fruits that tasted like sweet caramelly bliss.
My family moved to Los Angeles California when I was 6. I remember arriving to the Golden State and admiring the sunshine, blue skies, crisp air, and my favorite treat was strawberry ice cream from the local ice cream shop. I had to learn a new language in school at first it seemed like everyone was speaking an alien tongue. But shortly after about a year later I was catching on fairly quickly. I really loved all the variety of international friends that I was making from white, black, Asian, and other Hispanic friends. I really enjoyed the diversity of people here, I loved going to the pool in our apartment complex and going on co-created adventures with my friends. I remember my older teenage aunt and uncle playing Vanilla Ice, Snoop Doggy Dog, Bone Thugs & Harmony, 2 Pac, and other Old G music that was in the prime time season of the early 90's Hip Hop revolution. I remember the ambiance as I grew up around the older kids there was always the talk about Bloods and Crips the later founded by Raymond Washington a highschool student in 1969 who founded the organization in response to the increasing level of police harassment of the Black community. At this time my grandparents were concerned about the safety of the children and decided to follow my Aunt to Florida that's when we ended up in Miami.
Florida was an interesting place where we ended up in a similar but more mild scenario of Gangster life. Where I grew up, it was all about the Latin Kings culture of chicos and chicas south beach hotboxing drives on the beach strip and who had the best or coolest sneakers, cars, and wear of the time; very embedded materialist philosophy, clubbing & dining accompanied with reggaeton, booty dancing, and twerking. I went through an interesting teenage phase of partying and some recklessness.
By the age of 22 I received the call that I needed to change my life. I received the message that I was done with the party life and that I needed to listen to my true soul's call because I was no longer satisfied by sleepless nights and hungover mornings. At the time my 6-year long boyfriend from when I was 16 to 22 went to jail for drug trafficking and though it was a type of death for me it was also a reset.
At this time I had a calling to get healthy and that's what I did. I began learning about nutrition, going to the gym, going to the library to read self-help and personal development books that inspired me to truly step into my best self and to go above and beyond what I had adopted from my peer to peer culture. At this time I also cut off many old friends that were no longer in alignment with where I was moving towards I knew they would only hinder my process.
That's is when I decided to study Fitness, Yoga, Ayurveda, Nutrition, Herbalism, Permaculture, Movement Arts & Shamanism which is everything that I am passionate about now. This did not happen overnight rather it has happened over a period span of 13 years. I decided to surround myself with people that reflected the type of lifestyle that I was now cultivating and thanks to all these choices I find myself in one of the best places to be in the world right now with some of the most amazing people on the planet that are here to co-create the change of the new earth.
Tell us more about Eco Rainbow Goddess, Earth-GAIASMIC, and Permaculture Yogi.
Eco Rainbow Goddesses is an organization empowering women, families, and communities to live their best life in harmony with nature. We envision a world where all beings are free of suffering, where all people find themselves in a state of abundance, happiness, and where they have access to clean water, food, air, shelter, love, security, prosperity, and regenerative education.
Our purpose is to empower women to live their fullest expression. We help women to realize their wildest adventures, to feel fully alive and capable of accomplishing their dreams while learning about healing themselves and the Earth.
We are weaving a tapestry of an interlaced network of light, by being the keepers of the Earth, of living naturally and of honoring diverse indigenous medicine paths. We are alchemists of heart, body, mind, soul & planetary stewardship.
One of the first things we teach women about in our elemental living curriculum is teachings of the Earth Element related to the physical realm through Permaculture, Ayurveda, Nutrition, and Herbalism.
Women don't always know how to make the best nutritionally sound decisions with so many differing opinions in the world of what is good and what is not, fad diets, etc. The best solution is to learn more about your own unique constitution and how your unique build may require certain qualities of foods that you can learn to favor.
We also like to educate women on how to make the best buying choices of food and how to source organic and local and how to even go to the next best step which is how to grow some of these foods.
Earth Gaiasmic living is about experiencing this life in connection with nature as an ongoing expansive multidimensional orgasmic experience of embodiment.
Mmmm. Love that! Let's talk more about this role of food. We've noticed beautiful food photos on your instagram. We'd like you to explain more about the importance food plays in your life and the regenerative revolution.
I like to eat foods that are cleansing, detoxing, and alkalinizing which create an oxygen-rich antioxidant antiaging environment in my body but that are also nourishing and building.
I consume a very especially beyond organic blend of greens grasses and sprouts that are cool air-dried and crystalized into a fine powder and blended with high omega seeds such as amaranth, chia fermented brown rice protein, and medicinal mushrooms.
I basically live on this blend of superfoods as a liquid meal for 70% of the time and then I allow my self to eat solidly for 30 % of the time and that is usually a sautee of local greens with spices, ginger, turmeric, avocado, and kimchee (fermented vegetables) wrapped with sprouts in seaweed or rice paper rolls. seaweed.
I do my best to source local produce and to support local farmers when I am traveling and not growing my own food. Though my dream is to have my own food forest that will be shared with many people we will grow an abundance of medicine and food. We currently have our eyes set on a beautiful land in Costa Rica which is a waterfall wonderland. We are also partnering with land owners here in Quintana Roo the Riviera Maya of Mexico. And we are currently partnering with the investors who want to help us fund and be part of Ascendia where our vision is to empower the world to live a healthier, happier, and more abundant life by providing our village, tribe, visitors & patrons with a regenerative garden of Eden and healing facilities that offer the most powerful science-backed healing technologies to accelerate human transformation and help you thrive.
We believe that through being in contact with nature in its pristine glory daily, healing practices and utilization of specific regenerative technologies, we can greatly slow down and reverse aging so that the human body can be ascended to what some might call a superhuman state.
When did you first realize you cared about the planet?
This was shortly after my Amrit Yoga Teacher training in 2008. I realized that everything is connected and in that moment I knew I wanted to study something related to organic gardening and it was then when I found out about Permaculture which encourages us to be resourceful and regenerative by engaging in activities that promote closed loops systems of energy such as returning compost to the earth, growing our own food and or supporting local farmers.
What are you most passionate about within the permaculture movement?
What I am most passionate about in permaculture is the capacity we have to create an abundant oasis of life that can provide an incredible array of abundance and natural capital to regenerate the earth's resources and provide joy and freedom for the people of the earth.
What’s an inspiring message you would like to share?
Reconnecting with nature is my number one beauty tip all around. I owe my vitality and energy to the trees, the wind, sun, and the earth. I am grateful every day for this miracle of heaven on Mother Earth.
How do you feel about "the shift"?
We are headed into a time of massive awakening, the beginning of a new timeline. This is when the Earth and the people of the Earth will begin to divide into fractions of reality; those that choose to return to the Earth, to the vortexes of the planet, to embark in a journey of community, working with alternative economies, methods of natural building and healing, nourishing the soil of the earth. There will also be those that will continue to choose to be a slave to a collapsing system of suffering sickness and degeneration.
What does the sexiest future look like to you?
The sexiest future is ours when we choose to dive deep into alternative ways of living. It is when we choose life over death. It is when we follow our dreams and have faith in our success. Sexy is ours when we create empires of natural capital and abundance. By planting medicinal, edible and useful plants, building interdependent relationships, and exchanging skills, talents, services to empower each other's growth.
Who has inspired you on your path?
My path has been inspired by many leaders of the earth, revolutionaries that have stood for the biodiversity of the flora and fauna such as Vandana Shiva and Starhawk feminine leaders in the forefront of educating humanity on the importance of the freedom of non-GMO seeds and the healing capacity of earth-based eco-spirituality that encourages us to connect deeper with the earth.
Tell us about your trip to Merida.
Merida means one who has achieved a high place of honor. Mérida is the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatan where I currently live near Tulum a Mayan city which has been prophesized by the Mayans as a birthplace of the New Earth in the Golden Age.
After living in Costa Rica for almost a year and then moving to Tulum I must say I am very fortunate to be living and communing in the vortexes and epicenters of the emerging New Earth Culture.
I recently took a trip to a beautiful Hacienda in Merida to work with some sacred ancestral medicines.
I am currently working on a collection of writings from my medicine journeys which are being produced into song writting and binural bliss beat journeys.
This Album once produced will be a main means of fundraising income for Eco Rainbow Goddesses and to continue our mission.
Entheogenic Odyssey Is currently under production and it is my honor to share with you a preview.
The following transmission was received by me on the Leo Full Moon on the last weekend of January 2021 which is also my grandmothres birthday weekend.
